Care Ministry

One of the greatest gifts God blesses us with is the church family that surrounds and supports us. Congregational Care is how we, the church, come together to support one another. We hold space for the hard events you face as an individual or family. Care ministry is also the place where we joyfully celebrate the milestones of new births, baptism, weddings and even funerals.

Prayer Requests

Prayer Requests

How we can join you in prayer? Let us know about: new babies, upcoming surgeries and procedures, chronic illness, discernment, loss of employment, and anything else you may face. We want to both celebrate the Joys of God’s blessings and hold you up as you face trials and tribulations of life.

Visit request

Visit request

Sometimes there are things that keep us from being able to get to the church in person, and we still want to be included in the life and ministry. Visits with a pastor or care team member can include communion, prayer and other things. Invite us to journey with you and your loved ones as life changes.

Support Groups

Support Groups

Our support groups hold space around specific life experiences of grief and caregiving. These spaces are created to give support and strength as we go through it together.

Resources

We have many resources and referrals to help you through the challenging circumstances of life. Here you will find links to articles addressing violence and other difficult conversations families are facing.

Baptism

The sacrament of Baptism is a milestone celebrated as we claim God’s promise of salvation. This is an outward sign of the transformative grace of God, open to people of all ages. Interested to know more or schedule a baptism for yourself our someone else get started here.

Wedding

Weddings are a worshipful celebration of the coming together of a man and woman in matrimony. This union is a symbol of Christ’s union with the church. If you want to know more about holding a marriage service at FUMC, get started here.
