This summer at First United Methodist Church Dothan, we’re heading into the great Alaskan wilderness — where glistening glaciers, towering mountains, and the northern lights set the stage for a faith-filled adventure!

June 2–5 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
For rising 4P–5th graders
At True North VBS, kids will discover that even in a wild and ever-changing world, Jesus is the faithful friend and guide we can always trust. He is our True North — steady, unchanging, and full of love. Through music, games, crafts, and storytelling, kids will explore how to navigate life with Jesus as their compass.

VBS runs on amazing volunteers — and we’d love to have you join the adventure! Whether you love leading small groups, helping with crafts, playing outdoor games, or simply lending a hand, there’s a place for you on our team.
🧭 T-Shirt Deadline: May 5
To guarantee a t-shirt for your child (or yourself as a volunteer!), please register by Sunday, May 5.
Registrations will remain open after that — but t-shirts will only be ordered for those signed up by the deadline.

🎨 VBS Prep Parties & Leader Trainings – All Hands on Deck! We need YOU to help us bring VBS to life! Join us as we transform our church into an epic adventure that points kids to Jesus, our True North. Whether you're crafty or just willing to lend a hand, there's a place for everyone! 🌲CAMPING GEAR WANTED
Have tents, lanterns, backpacks, or other camping gear we could borrow as decorations? We'd love to use your supplies to turn our space into an epic outdoor adventure! 📍Please label and drop off items in the Children’s Ministry Office anytime between now and May 29. 📧 Contact Kaylee Vaughn at kaylee@fumcdothan.org for more information.
