YOUTH ACTIVITIES for grades 7-12

sunday Bible study

Come eat, hang out, and worship with us! There will be games, prizes, and a message! Sunday evenings from 6 – 7:30 pm, in Room 283.

Tuesday Breakfast

You’re Invited!! Grades 7-12 meet on Tuesday mornings in the Fellowship Hall for a hot breakfast and a devotion. Cost is $3/person and transportation to school can be arranged! Contact us for more info!

Wednesday Bible study

We meet on Wednesday evenings to study the Word of God! We hope to see you there!

What: 2024 Oakwood Summer Camp

Oakwood is a retreat at Blue Lake that multiple churches take part in every summer. Upon arrival, students are placed on one of six teams that will compete for the duration of camp in various ways to come out the Champion! There will be morning and night sessions everyday with games, worship, and a message from our speakers. In between we will have team games, basketball, and plenty of other awesome things to do at camp! 

When: June 24-28

Where: Blue Lake Camp, 8500 Oakwood Lane Andalusia, AL 

Cost: $250 which includes all food, lodging, and programming at camp. $100 is due May 22, with full payment required by June 20.

Theme: “Who am I? What is our identity? Who was Jesus and how does that change who I am?”

What: Honduras High School Mission Trip – (9th-12th graders)

When: July 27- August 3

Where: This year we are going to Honduras. We will stay at Rancho Ebenezer, an orphanage where we will be ministering to the kids living there, as well as doing some projects outside in the city of Tegucigalpa!

What: A passport will be required for all participants. Several forms will need to be completed as well. Please fill out the forms by clicking this link:

Important: There are three forms located under the “Honduras” section that we will need a copy of. 

We will host at least two in- person meetings to answer any questions once we get signups underway. Until then, please reference the following link for answers about the orphanage:

Cost: The total cost of the trip is $1,000, with a $500 deposit saving your spot! We can only take a total of 14 guys and 18 girls based on the housing at the orphanage including our adults.

The Plunge - June 3-5


The youth department is so excited to offer a chance for our 7-12 grade students to grow in their faith through worship as our Children’s department helps our younger students come to know and love Christ more through vacation bible school. Join us for food, music, and a message on June 3 and 4 at 6 pm, that evening in the youth worship space. We will then join the younger students participating in VBS for fun at Water World Wednesday, June 5! There is no cost for this event, you do not need to sign up, and dates are June 3-5. Engage 2024 - June 14-16


What: This mission event is a three-day event with the Harbor downtown! We will be learning what it looks like to Engage with our community and with God! There will be daily community outreach events and teachings led by our staff. We will have worship and plenty of games as well! This will be an excellent time to learn how best to serve our community and share with them Christ!

Where: We will be staying the night at the church for the duration of the event. All travel to work sites and outreach will be provided.

Cost: $50 due by June 5th

When: June14th-16th – We will meet at 1 pm at the church. On Sunday, we will attend the Bridge service and then dismiss!

Bring: yard work clothes, Bible, sleeping bags, pillows, and toiletries!

Triple Play Getaway - July 19-21


We are excited to once again take the youth students (grades 7-12) to watch the Atlanta Braves play baseball and go white-water rafting in Georgia this July, but we have added even more! This year we will also be taking a trip to Six Flags! We will leave Friday, July 19 and head to the game. We will stay that night at a local church in the Atlanta area (more details to come). Saturday, July 20, we will enjoy our day at Six Flags. Sunday, July 21, we will go white-water rafting and then make our way back home to Dothan.
