
Rooted in Confidence: A Mother-Daughter Night with Kari Kampakis

Moms, daughters, and grandmothers—Come together for a night of honestly facing our insecurities, embracing empathy, and strengthening one another.
At Rooted in Confidence, nationally recognized author and speaker Kari Kampakis will share wisdom on raising confident girls and trusting God with our children. This special evening will include:
- An opening talk on Becoming a Confident Girl with Kari
- Breakout sessions – Moms with Kari & Daughters with Lee Ann Boykin
- Dinner, fellowship, and encouragement
- Book signing and photo opportunities – books will be available for purchase or you can bring your own book with you.
Mothers know their daughters best. This event is appropriate for any age, if she is old enough to pay attention through a 45-minute talk. It is designed for mothers, daughters and grandmothers (alone or together). Though all are welcome, most commonly, we see girls in 4th grade and up.
Tickets are $15. Pre-registration closes online at midnight 3/8. Tickets will be available at the door beginning at 4:40 p.m., before the event begins.

Meet Kari Kampakis
Kari Kampakis is an author, speaker, podcaster, and newspaper columnist from Birmingham, Alabama. She has written several bestselling books for both mothers and teen girls, including:

- More Than a Mom: How Prioritizing Your Wellness Helps You (and Your Family) Thrive

Kari’s work has been featured on The TODAY Show, Focus on the Family, Bethany Hamilton’s Mother/Daughter Program, and more. She also hosts the Girl Mom podcast and speaks nationally to encourage both moms and daughters. She has hosted a Ted talk for youth on Empathy.
She and her husband, Harry, have four middle school to college aged daughters and a dog named Lola.
