SUNRISE ON THE GREEN

Join us on the green space behind FUMC (across W. Burdeshaw St.) as we worship and celebrate a risen Savior! We will begin just before sunrise, and worship as the sun rises in the east.

  • Service will begin at 6:10 am.
  • Please bring chairs for your seating, and blankets if you might get cold. If you have extra chairs, bringing those for guests would be a lovely display of hospitality.
  • Dress for outdoor worship (casual, of course.)
  • Coffee and donuts will be available.
  • Plan B in event of bad weather: we will worship in the sanctuary.
  • Nursery will be provided for newborn to age 3.

SANCTUARY

Join us in the FUMC Sanctuary for a traditional Easter worship service with our choir ensemble and Dr. Jim Sanders preaching.

  • Services will begin at 8:55 am and 11:00 am.
  • Our 8:55 service is usually the fullest.
  • Masks are required, temperatures are checked, and names recorded (for contact tracing) upon entry.
  • Nursery will be provided for newborn to age 3.

THE BRIDGE

Join us in the FUMC Fellowship Hall for The Bridge Easter worship service with music led by Promise, our praise band, and preaching by Rev. Jack Hinnen.

  • Services will begin at 8:55 am and 11:00 am.
  • Masks are required, temperatures are checked, and names recorded (for contact tracing) upon entry.
  • Nursery will be provided for newborn to age 3.

CHILDREN ON EASTER

We would love for your whole family to join us this Easter, especially the children!

  • Nursery will be provided for newborn to age 3 during all worship services.
  • We will NOT have Rock Solid (kids worship service) on Easter, so children above age 3 will will worship with their families.
  • Sunday school will be available for all children. (10:00 – 10:45)
  • During Sunday School, and between services, children will have opportunities to flower the cross in the Walton Garden. We encourage children to bring flowers from their own yard for this, but there will be also some available at church.

SUNDAY SCHOOL ON EASTER

Sunday school will be available for children, tweens, and youth. We currently have some adult classes meeting in-person, and some that still do not. We invite you to connect with someone if you would like to join an adult class on Easter. One of our staff/volunteers will be able to assist you in finding an adult class to visit.
