Temple Builders Fitness Program: Fall Session

          Saturday, Dec 15, 2007- Program Ends

GOALS    Walkers and Joggers must complete 185 miles in this time period to receive the incentive Award.

DESCRIPTION  This program is an Incentive Program for all of our Walkers and Joggers. Participants can either walk or jog at their convenience. Weekly mileage sheets must be turned in at the Christian Life Center. Individual mileage totals will be posted on a Master Chart. A “fun” way to get recognized for your hard work. Walking and Running can be done on the treadmills.

            8:00 am -  Team Pictures
            8:30 am -  Opening Ceremonies
            8:45 am -  Walk Begins

WHERE  Westgate Park-Dothan, AL

COST    $30.00 Minimum donation to receive a Team T-Shirt.

DESCRIPTION  This is the Annual Walk sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Resource Center. Participants can choose between a 1-mile or 5-mile walk.  Alzheimer’s disease is a degenerative disease of  the brain that robs it’s victims of  their memory and cognitive abilities. It is the fourth leading cause of death among Adults.

REGISTRATION Fill-out information at  the CLC or Call 712-9223, or you can register on the following dates after the 8:30 am,9:45 am and 11 am worship services:

                             *Sunday, September 30, 2007
                             *Sunday, October 7, 2007 .

Christian Life Center Policies

The Christian Life Center is open to all members of the First United Methodist Church of Dothan, Alabama. Members must be in the 3rd grade or above.

The Leisure Ministries Committee has adopted a permanent I.D. card system.

Each Church member, in the 3rd grade and older, is asked to donate $5.00 toward the cost of their membership card.

Church members 16 years and older who wish to use the Fitness Center, are also asked for an annual donation of $30.00 for an individual or $60.00 for families.

These amounts will be used toward the maintenance and replacement of equipment. There will be a $10.00 fee to replace any originally issued card.
