Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Room is open daily and you are encouraged to pray there. It is located beyond the Sanctuary to the east of the Reception Center.

How Does It Work?
Prayer request cards are placed in all pews. Your completed request may be brought to the altar or handed to an Usher as he comes down an aisle during the services on Sunday. Requests are compiled on Monday and given to all staff members and sent to all those on the Prayer Ministry roster, where they are prayed for daily.

The Prayer Chain

Importance of Prayer
Prayer releases the power of God in mysterious ways. All prayers are answered, although not always in the way we desire. Sometimes it is difficult to accept that "no" and "not yet" are answers. But God does hear, and always wants to know our requests and maintain communication with us.

How Can I Get Started?
Pray the Psalms, express your adoration for God, confess your sins, repent, give thanks, and "make your requests known to God." Read a book on prayer from our library or the Prayer Room.
