 Greeters
Greeters welcome people coming to Sunday morning worship services.
Greeters are positioned at the entrance doors on Main
Sreet. They are available to extend a word of welcome, to open
doors, and to guide anyone needing directions or assistance. Greeters
are assigned to the same location so they become familiar with the
congregation that typically uses the same entrance each week. This
way they are more easily capable of recognizing and welcoming those
who are visitors. Greeters commit to their schedule for one-year,
and that commitment is renewable.
Ushers
Teams rotate as scheduled by head ushers every other month to serve
the sanctuary worship services at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 AM on Sundays,
as well as serving for special seasonal services, concerts, and
funerals as required.
"Reception Desk Helpers"
This ministry supports our first-time visitors by providing follow-up
contact and home delivery of a delicious, homemade cookies
and other church brochures and materials, including our weekly
newsletter, facility maps and more. |
