Small Group Studies

A large part of God's purposes for our lives is to be involved in Christian Fellowship and Discipleship. If we follow the pattern of the Church in the Book of Acts and the teachings of John Wesley, founder of Methodism, we will achieve this through small groups.

How Do I Get Involved?
Please call Rev. Sterling Boykin at 334.793.3555x 240 for information on current small groups, and for upcoming schedules for Spring 2008.

New Short Term Study Forming!        small

Paul and the Romans

romansWe will begin our short-term Disciple study on Paul’s writing to the Romans on Wednesday, March 26th.

This 8-week study of the Romans invites participants to read and reflect on the scriptures.  Through video segments, class members can hear the voices of New Testament scholars.  And through the small group setting, members can share with one another their thoughts, questions and concerns.

The study will be facilitated by Sterling Boykin and David Hendrix.

If you are looking for an in-depth Bible Study or if you are looking to be part of a small group; then we hope you will consider this study.

The first meeting will be at 6:30 on March 26th in the Joy Class Room, Room 2130.

Please call the church office to reserve your spot at 793-3555 or email me at sterling@fumcdothan.org. Click here for on line registration
