There is a place for every child in the fellowship of First United Methodist Church. Our objective is to provide opportunities along with parents to guide children in their awareness and understanding of God, especially His redeeming love as revealed through Jesus Christ. Through core Bible lessons, relationship building, life applications and missions, we aim to provide structure and programming so that each and every child becomes a follower of Jesus Christ.

The Children’s Department consists of all children from birth through fourth grade.  Feel free to contact Children’s Ministries at 793-3555, ext. 232 for more information or to sign up for any activities.  You may also register on-line for our fall programs.

First United Methodist Church has invested in multi-faceted learning opportunities for our children. Your child will learn the principles of the Christian faith through art, music & movement, drama, puppets, stories, computers, and yes - even games!

United Methodist Kids Fellowship (UMKF) provides programs for children grades K-4 beginning at 4:30 pm.  A short term children’s small group study will begin at 4:30 pm.  Snack supper is served from 5:30 – 6:00.  Kids Fellowship is available from 6:00-7:00 for K-4th graders whose parents are attending Bible study or church related activities.  Kids Fellowship includes computer games, Bible games, and playground time.
