Music is vital to the growth and development of our children, and there are several ways in which children may be involved at FUMC. There are three graded vocal choirs and a hand chime choir that children are invited to participate in during the school year. All of these choirs meet on Wednesday afternoons as part of our W.A.C.K.Y. (We Are Christ's Kids Y'all) Program from 3:30-5:00, with the exception of hand chimes. The children sing several times a year in church and participate in Christmas and Spring programs. Children in grades 1-5 also present a musical once a year.

The three choirs and hand chime choir are divided by grade level:

SonShine Singers (4 - 5 yr. Olds), Room 1118. Meet as part of SonShine Time (3:30-5:00 pm on Wednesdays)Led by Katherine Lee, Amy Prim, Jennie Lee and Heather Howell.

Joyful Noise (1st & 2nd Grades), Room 1218
Meet as part of W.A.C.K.Y. Wednesday from 4:25 – 5:00 pm
Led by Gindi Prutzman

Celebration Singers (2nd – 5th Grades), Room 1218
Meet as part of W.A.C.K.Y. Wednesday from 3:50-4:25 pm.
Led by Gindi Prutzman

Celebration Ringers (2nd - 5th Grades), Room 224
Meet from 5:30 – 6:15 pm on Wednesdays
